In October of 2009, Tracy Squillaci had what the doctors called a “brief psychotic breakdown,” followed by 5 more before coming to Charis in 2014!
But when she heard Andrew Wommack, teaching from Romans 12:1-2, say, “You need to get your mind renewed,” she knew that was exactly what she had to do! Her mental health and quality of life were literally hanging in the balance.
The Lies
The doctors told her that she would have to be on medication for the rest of her life, and they also said that there was no real cure for mental health!
Those were lies, and thanks to what she had learned at Charis, Tracy knew it!
The Truth
Our wonderful Savior bore all of our sicknesses and diseases on the cross so that we could walk in divine health. He wore a crown of thorns for our healing to crown us with His ‘hesed‘—His lovingkindness and tender mercies.

Fear torments our minds. That is why the revelation of the hesed/agape love of Jesus is so important. People say that fear and faith are opposites, but I am convinced that it is love that drives away or ‘casts out’ fear.”
