I have dealt with this very question myself, ‘Should I minister on healing if I’m not well?’. I had basically been healthy my whole life and never had any problems. When I got turned on to the Lord, healing is one of the first things I saw. Early on I started a series in a Bible study on healing and before that time I hadn’t been sick for years. When I started teaching on healing, I was sick for six weeks. I had something wrong with me all the time. I said to myself, “Well, I can’t preach this because I’m not living it,” and the Lord just spoke to me and said,

are you going to preach it because it’s the truth or because you can see it in your life?

You can minister on healing because it’s the truth

Ultimately, you need to get your experience to where it matches up with what you’re saying. The Scripture in Hebrews chapter 10 says that after the coming into light there was a requirement to endure a great fight of afflictions. Another way of putting this is once the truth comes to you, Satan knows that you’re your weakest when you’re young in it. He will throw everything he’s got planned to do for 5 or 10 years trying to get you to back up. If you’ll just persevere through that, then eventually you will break free.

That’s what I did, I decided I’m going to minister on healing whether I can see it in my life or not, because it’s the truth. When I made that decision, I saw things turn around and I’ve walked in supernatural health. I don’t know your total situation, but you don’t need to wait until you’ve got everything manifest in your body before you stand for the truth. So yes, I believe you can have faith in God and minister on healing.
